Gail Weston-Roberts brings her love of creative arts--written, spoken and performed--to her role as CLC's Youth Coordinator. Gail also shares her gifts with The Center for Arts in Natick (TCAN), creating community theater, producing plays, and building sets. She is a trained singer who loves most music genres, plays several instruments, especially the mandolin. Gail directs CLC's "World Band" to accompany "world" hymns in worship with percussion and other instruments. Gail co-teaches confirmation class with her husband Phil Roberts, where she frequently interrupts his teaching with questions about communion, the Gnostic Heresy, Why Are We All Here, Anyway?! and the like. Even though Gail is a Lutheran, she does all she can to help young humans pray out loud, plus have a good time together whilst at church. Could be sidewalk games, could be cooking, lighting fires...
Pre-pandemic, Gail hosted a verbal-arts open mic at TCAN and brings a love of improvising, storytelling and poetry to her work. She believes that creative 'work' is co-creating with God and is vital to experiencing the Holy Spirit's presence in the room--in our actual lives! "Yes, And...!"
