Altar Guild members are the quiet “housekeepers” who prepare the sanctuary for worship: draping the altar and pulpit with paraments, tending to the baptismal font, replacing candles, hanging banners, and preparing the bread and wine for communion.

Coffee Hour Hosts provide the tea and coffee, pastries, and finger foods for the social gathering that follows each Sunday morning service.

Family Promise Coordinators schedule, assign, and organize actvities for the church’s host week with families at the Day Center.

Visitation Team/Card Ministry Folks on this team visit the sick and shut-ins of the congregation. Cards are sent to those who are ill, who are grieving. or otherwise in need of prayers and support.

Worship, Music, and the Visual Arts Committee (WMVA) works with the pastor and music director to plan worship services, particularly the major festivals of Advent, Christmas, Lent, Easter and Pentecost.

Finance and Property Committee builds and monitors the annual budget and oversees the upkeep and maintenance of church property.

Stewardship designs and implements strategies to encourage generous giving to the ministries carried out by the church.

Endowment oversees the investments and earnings funded by individual donations to the Endowment Fund and each year makes recommendations for the allocation of those funds to further the mission of the church in the wider world.

Audit Committee reviews the accounts of the congregation as well as those of the Endowment Fund once a year.

Professional Leadership provides support to the pastor and staff, serving as a sounding board for issues as they arise.
